About the Book

Israel’s tech ecosystem thrives on connection and collaboration. The Ecosystem Project brings together founders, investors, service providers, and ecosystem builders through our comprehensive platform of free tools, resources, and community events. Join the network that’s empowering the next generation of Israeli innovation.

The Israeli tech ecosystem is composed of many players, each plays a role in making Israel a strong player in the global entrepreneurship arena.

The aim of The Ecosystem project is to showcase inspiring personas who make this ecosystem thrive, share their stories and insights, and add meaningful value to a range of readers.

The project contains interviews, photos, and insights from a diverse set of industry insiders on the following chapters: startups, investors, programs, open innovation, academia, communities, hubs, and more. It was impossible to include every one of the thousands of entities that make up this mosaic of Israeli high-tech. Thus, a filtering and voting process was used to determine what content would go in the book. To ensure the content entering the project is unbiased and includes diverse opinions, we created a judging committee composed of over 20 carefully selected women and men who represent different aspects of the Israeli high-tech ecosystem and are well-versed in it. Their accumulated votes determined who would be in the book.

The judging committee is composed of carefully selected women and men who deeply understand and are well familiar with the Israeli high-tech ecosystem: Yuval Avni / Miri Berger / Sharin Fisher Dibrov / Shahar Matorin / Hans Shakur / Lior Weizman / Gil Ben-Artzy / Nimrod Cohen / Guy Holtzman / Batsheva Moshe / Gil Benesh / Eden Dvir Zano / Michal Kissos Hertzog/ Merav Oren / Oren Simanian / Eyal Benjamin / Yael Elad / Patricia Lahy-Engel / Hilla Ovil-Brenner / Fadi Swidan
